In a candid conversation with ETimes, Neena Gupta recalled her struggling days in Mumbai and revealed why she dropped a post on Instagram asking people for work. Elaborating more about it, the actress mentioned that a lot of fake news about her shifting to Delhi was spread in the media during that time. Recalling how people in the industry used to ask her when did she came back to Mumbai or if she was still working, Neena said:
“When I put that post, I had 11,000 followers. A lot of media people spread the news about me that I’ve shifted to Delhi after I got married and I don’t live in Mumbai. But it was far from truth. I was very much here. People in the industry thought that she doesn’t work now. People used to ask me, arey tum kab aayi Mumbai? Are you still working?”
