Recently, Nimrat Kaur sat for an interview with News18’s SheShakti event, wherein she reacted to the mean remarks she had to face due to her speculated personal life. The actress said that social media is just like an ‘amoeba’, which can crop anything, anywhere, for any reason. Nimrat stated that she didn’t come to Mumbai to focus on these speculations, but to fulfil her aim, which is to focus on herself and her work. Nimrat said:
“Social media is like an amoeba in itself, it can crop up anytime, anywhere, for any reason – whether there is a reason or not. I’m very clear about what my focus in life should be. I didn’t come to Mumbai for social media; back then, it didn’t even exist. We didn’t even have smartphones. My goal and aim in life is to grow a solid body of work, not waste time on meaningless things that people with too much free time engage in.”
