On October 9, 2023, Nushrratt Bharuccha took to her Instagram handle and shared her experience of being stuck in Israel amid the ongoing war with the Hamas militant group. The actress shared a series of picture notes and revealed what it was like to be not able to contact anyone for help. Nushrratt shared that she and her team had flown down to Israel to attend the Haifa International Film Festival, and everything was all fun until the morning of October 7, 2023.
