Some claimed she took anti-ageing treatment, while some claimed that the actress used Ozempic to lose weight, which caused a cardiac arrest. Now, in a recent interview with Mamaraazzi, her husband, Parag Tyagi, dismissed the rumours surrounding Shefali’s death. When he heard the word Ozempic, he instantly questioned the host whether anybody had noticed it in their home. Then he explained that Ozempic is a medicine that an overweight person takes who doesn’t have any control over what they eat. He then put the record straight by dismissing it as a rumour spread through Instagram. He was quoted as saying:

“Kisine dekha Ozempic hamare ghar mein? Jisne bhi bola. I don’t know. Ozempic aj ke time pe bohot bara pheira chuka hain. Yeh woh log liya karte hain jo over weight hota hai, jinko khane pe control nahi hai. Uska effect aj aur kal milega. Instagram university mein kisine dekha hoga, toh unhone bol diya.”
