She was famously known for playing the character of ‘Varsha’, Ankita Lokhande’s character ‘Archana’s sister’ in Pavitra Rishta. According to reports, she succumbed to the illness on August 31, 2025. She was reportedly undergoing treatment for cancer.

According to a report by Maharashtra Times, Priya Marathe died at the age of 38. She breathed her last at her residence in Mira Road. Her condition worsened and she wasn’t able to recover from cancer. Priya Marathe’s death left the entire nation in shock. Priya is survived by her husband, Shantanu Moghe, who is also a Marathi actor.
