Payal Gaming registers an FIR over her deepfake video
On December 19, 2025, Payal took to her X handle and shared a snap of her FIR copy. She registered an FIR under the Maharashtra State Cyber Department over her AI-generated deepfake video. Along with the snaps, Payal penned a short note sharing an update about her cybercrime report. She expressed her gratitude to the Maharashtra Cyber Department. She wrote:
“Today, I met Shri. Yashasvi Yadav (IPS), Addl. Director General of Police and Head of the Maharashtra Cyber Department. I express my sincere gratitude for the prompt action, professionalism, efficiency and seamless support extended by the Maharashtra Cyber Department.”
