There is hardly anyone who hasn’t been mesmerised by the queen of pop, Cher. The 77-year-old singer has ruled the global music industry for decades and is still one of the most influential personalities in the West. Cher defied the age-old dominance of males in pop society and made a place of her own, which is why she is still immensely respected. However, the recent legal documents filed against Cher are enough to tarnish her hard-earned image, and if the claims in the complaint are true, then Cher has no one to blame but herself.
Cher is accused of hiring goons to kidnap her adult son.
On December 5, 2022, Cher’s daughter-in-law, Marie King, complained that four goons abducted her estranged husband, Elijah Blue. She further alleges that the goons were hired by Cher, who did not want her son, Elijah Blue Allman, to reconcile with her. For the unversed, Elijah and Marie previously filed for divorce in 2021 and, by the end of 2022, were trying to reconcile and save their relationship. However, Cher did not want the same.
