On February 20, 2026, Rahul took to his Instagram handle and shared a note as he confirmed his separation from Ishani Johar. The 26-year-old cricketer started his post by mentioning that he entered marriage at a young age of 22, before he could understand what he wanted from his life. Later, he got lessons he never expected his 15 months were sepnt navigating courtrooms. He wrote:
“I entered marriage at a young age, before I fully understood myself, my worth, or the life I truly wanted to build. What followed were years of lessons I never expected, and the last fifteen months spent navigating courtrooms, learning patience, resilience, and the strength that some from in truth.”
