In Farah Khan’s vlog, Raj shared that it was love at first sight with Shilpa. However, his father was totally against it. He had a completely different notion of actresses back in those days. Recalling his father’s words, Raj said that he told him that actresses drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes. He was quoted as saying:
“My father said, ‘Arre yaar, kya actresses ke saath lag gaya hai? Daru piti hai, cigarette piti hai.”
