Veteran actor, Ranjeet has done countless films, but it is his ‘villain’ image that made everyone fear him. After so many decades, he is still known for assaulting women in Hindi films. His on-screen characters became a shadow part of him, which he carried into the real world, and it seems like his own family wasn’t happy with him for portraying such roles. Recently, Ranjeet recalled how his mother had thrown him out of the house for assaulting Bollywood actress, Rekha’s character in a film.
Ranjeet shared how his mother reacted to his assaulting scenes in films
Recently, Ranjeet recalled his acting journey in an interview with Radio Nasha. During the same, he recalled how his mother had thrown him out of the house after they had watched him assaulting Rakhee’s character in the film, Sharmeelee. Talking about the same, Ranjeet revealed his mother was extremely upset with him and asked him how dare he enter her house. Ranjeet said:
“Jaise meri entry hui ghar mein, aisi look di ki koi goli nikal ke maar dega. Fir meri mother uthi, hum unko chaiji bulate hai Punjabi mein. Vo aake mere pass kehti, ‘Teri himmat kaise huo ghar mein aan di’. (How dare you enter the home). Maine kaha mai ne kita ki hai. (He asked her what he had done.) ‘Tune chora ki hai jo hor krne ko. Ladkio ko marte ho, baal keechte ho, unke kapde fadte ho. Yeh kya hai, yeh konsa kamaa hai. Koi doctor bano, major bano, yeh konsa kaam hai. Lanat hai, dafa ho jao, apne baap ka naam kata diya hai. Konsa mooh lekar Amritsar jayega.”
