In July 2025, Ekta Kapoor made the decision to bring back the OG television show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, which will be premiering after almost 25 years. The show is already generating a lot of buzz, as a few familiar faces like Smriti Irani are coming back on screen. But amid all those familiar faces, actor, Ronit Roy has confirmed that he won’t be reprising the role of ‘Mihir’, but is happy that the show is coming back and has wished the team all the luck. In an interview with ETimes, he said:
“I am happy that they decided to bring back Kyunki. Unfortunately, it did not work out for me, but, of course, Kyunki is a show that has been very close to my heart. I did Kyunki for eight years of my life. And I wish the cast and crew of Kyunki, and the makers, the very best. Looking forward to watching it.”
