Sadly, it was on June 27, 2025, that she passed away in Mumbai, reportedly due to a cardiac arrest. Shefali was married to Parag Tyagi since 2014, but before the 42-year-old actress was married to Meet Bros fame, Harmeet Singh. Now, Shefali’s current husband, Parag, has completed her last rites at Oshiwara, and her ex-husband, Harmeet, in his tribute, expressed grief at not being able to be on her final journey.

Shefali’s ex-husband, Harmeet, is a music composer and is known for chartbuster tracks such as Main Tera Boyfriend, Baby Doll, Pink Lips, Radhe Radhe to name a few. It was in 2004 when the ex-pair tied the knot and separated in 2009 when their marriage hit a rough patch. A while back, Harmeet took to his Instagram Stories and shared that her demise was one of the most shocking moments of his life. He has been absolutely shattered and in disbelief after hearing about Shefali’s sudden and untimely demise. Shefali’s ex-husband, Harmeet’s note read:
“We shared a few beautiful years together a long time ago-memories I will always hold close to my heart. My deepest condolences to her parents- Satish ji and Sunita ji, her husband Parag and her sister Shivani. Being away in Europe right now, it’s painful for me not to be able to be there for the last rites. Gone far too soon. I pray to the Almighty for her soul to rest in peace, and strength to the family during this unimaginable time. Jai Shri Krishna.”
