On September 11, 2023, the celebrity mehendi artist, Veena Nagda took to her Instagram handle and dropped some throwback pictures from Shilpa Shetty’s mehendi ceremony. In the pictures, the then-to-be bride looked super happy and excited as she got her mehendi done. Sharing the picture, Veena shared an unknown anecdote from Shilpa’s mehendi and revealed that the actress wanted a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi in her mehendi design. Adding that Shilpa chose a lotus design for her wedding mehendi, Veena penned:
“While applying mehendi at Shilpa’s wedding, Shilpa said, ” I want the symbol of Lakshmi” and she chose a lotus design from then I started the wonderful design of Lotus. Thank you shilpa ji for trusting me.”
