This news followed speculation about Shilpa and Raj allegedly defrauding Deepak Kothari, the director of Lotus Capital Financial Services. For the unversed, Shilpa joined this brand back in 2019, and since then, she and the other owners have continued to expand the branches and the business. It was back in 2024, when Shilpa Shetty told Zoom that Bastian Bandra paid the highest GST in the hospitality business that year. In 2019, Shilpa Shetty joined the brand, and following this, a new branch was opened in 2020, which was relocated to a rooftop area in 2023. In the following years, two other branches were opened in Bengaluru and Pune. According to the reports, the brand generated a revenue of Rs. 127 crore in the financial year ending in March 2024. Reportedly, before closing in August 2025, the brand generated significant monthly revenue, with sources suggesting Rs. 10 crore in a good month.
