Popular actress, Shrenu Parikh and her actor-boyfriend, Akshay Mhatre are on cloud nine as they are all set to tie the knot in December 2023. Now, in an interview, the actress and her Ghar Ek Mandir – Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki co-star, Akshay opened up about the same and expressed their happiness. For the unversed, it was during a promotional event in Lucknow for her TV show, Maitree, when Shrenu confirmed her relationship with Akshay, and in March 2023, they got rokafied.

In a joint interview with the Times Of India, Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre revealed that they would get hitched to each other in December 2023 at her hometown in Vadodara, Gujarat. Talking about the same, she also expressed her excitement about becoming a Gujarati bride. She shared:
“Yes, it will be a winter wedding. I am excited to become a Gujarati bride and the wedding will take place in Vadodara, my hometown. Akshay never formally proposed to me. But one day, he said he could not wait to get married to me and I knew that we were heading towards something substantial.”
