Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan, was stabbed six times by Bangladeshi resident, Shariful Fakir, at his Satguru Sharan residence in Bandra back in January 2025. He had to undergo an emergency operation at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, and after six days, he walked out of the hospital like a lion. At one end, many questioned how the actor recovered so quickly, and on the other side, Saif’s sister, Soha, spoke about the aftermath of the incident. She recalled how a similar attack had also taken place at her house.
Saif Ali Khan’s sister, Soha, remembers the robbery incident that took place at her home
Saif had made it a point not to take any assistance while walking out of the hospital. The aftermath of the incident left a mark on the hearts and minds of the Khan family. Soha sat down for an interview with Zoom and shared that not many know that her own house had a robbery attack when her father passed away in 2011. Soha remembered how her then-boyfriend and now husband, Kunal Kemmu, got the thief. Soha shared that she just felt that Mumbai is a safe city, and she has felt very safe growing up. In her words:
“Kunal was there and he caught the thief and he was convicted. I just thought it was strange. But it’s all on my mother to have two children whose homes was being broken into. You can’t think like acha mere saath bhi hua hai and aapke saath bhi hua hai. This is something to think about. I think the best way to think, heal from it is what my brother said in the interview. It was very unfortunate, terrifying that it happened but when you think about it, it was the best possible outcome.”
