Splitsvilla has become a fan favourite show over the years. The show has returned with a new season, Splitsvilla X6. This season is hosted by TV star, Karan Kundrra and Canadian-American actress, Sunny Leone. For the unversed, the TV dating reality show premiered on January 9, 2026. Uorfi Javed and Nia Sharma have also joined the show, bringing a change in the old format. During the launch event of the show, MTV Splitsvilla X6: Pyaar ya Paisa, Sunny Leone shared that the show has always been very close to her heart. She highlighted that over the years, the show has grown with changing mindsets and dating styles, and this season is no exception. She mentioned that Season 16 has brought the ‘Pyaar ya Paisa’ twist, where emotions will be tested, bonds will be challenged and more. She was quoted as saying:

Over the years, I’ve seen the show grow with changing mindsets, dating styles and the realities of modern love.
