Sunita Williams Will Visit Her Dad’s Home Country, India, Describes How Mumbai Looks From Space

Indian-origin astronaut, Sunita Williams returned to Earth on March 19, 2025, along with Nick Hague, Butch Wilmore, and Russian astronaut, Aleksandr Gorbunov after being at the International Space Centre for 286 days. The delay was caused by an issue with Boeing’s Starliner, which resulted in the astronauts to have to be in space for nine months. Now, Sunita, who has Indian roots as her father is from Jhulasan, Gujarat, plans to make a visit to India soon and go to her dad’s hometown.
