The 53-year-old industrialist passed away during a polo match in England after allegedly suffering a fatal heart attack. Sunjay, who was known for his passion for Polo, dynamic presence in the business world and strong family values, was full of life, which has made it difficult for his loved ones to get used to his absence, especially after knowing that just three months ago, he shared how he had chalked out a plan for the next 10 years of his life in a hope to focus more on important things in his life.

Sunjay Kapur sat down for a conversation with the Indian Silicon Valley podcast just months before his death. During the conversation, he reflected on his life until then and expressed hope and optimism towards his future. Reflecting on his blended family, Sunjay admitted that being in a unit wasn’t always easy. However, he was grateful to have established a system after years of struggle where everyone loved each other. In his words:
“It’s important that we build a unit. We come from a blended family, so it’s not always easy. But we’ve been very fortunate to have a system where we all work together where we love each other. And I want that to continue even after my wife and I’s lifetime.”
