In an interview with ETimes, Karan Deol opened up about his family getting their dues in their industry after the success of his father, Sunny Deol’s film, Gadar 2. Talking about the same, the actor mentioned it took 22 years for his father to achieve the success that he got after Gadar 2. Mentioning that Sunny’s journey in the industry has been a source of inspiration for him, Karan stated that he is still in his struggling phase. In his words:
“My father saw this kind of success after 22 long years with Gadar 2. That has taught me the importance of being patient. With so much competition in the industry, it is difficult to find work unless you prove yourself. I am yet to do that… I’m still struggling and looking for work. Initially, I’d get frustrated because at this age, you want to work instead of just sitting around, but I’m learning to be patient.”
