Emraan Hashmi’s latest web series, Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web, is currently leading the headlines after it was released on Netflix on January 14, 2026. Apart from Emraan Hashmi, the show stars, Sharad Kelkar, Amruta Khanvilkar, Zoya Afroz, Nandish Sandhu and Anurag Sinha in important roles. The series opened to positive reviews and featured many twists and turns. By the time the show reaches its final episode, everything changes (spoiler alert!).
Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web’s plot
The series begins with the onboard of an honest senior officer, ‘Prakash’, who pledges to end international smuggling from Mumbai airport. To get the task done, he appoints a team of three brilliant officers known for their honesty. The three officers in question are ‘Arjun Meena’ (Emraan Hashmi), ‘Ravi Gujjar’ (Nandish Singh Sandhu) and ‘Mithali Kamath’ (Amruta Khanvilkar).
