Tere Ishk Mein is a romantic film, which explores the love story of ‘Shankar’ (Dhanush) and ‘Mukti’ (Kriti Sanon). The two met as young students in Delhi, where ‘Mukti’, a psychology researcher sees ‘Shankar’ as her subject to research on aggressive behaviour. Gradually, the two fall in love with each other. However, ‘Mukti’ leaves him and moves on in her life. A heartbroken ‘Shankar’ joins the Indian Air Force. Years later, things change when the two cross paths again, forcing them to revisit their past and unresolved emotions.
