Speaking with PEOPLE, she opened up on how she and Todd Bridges found each other at the right time. It was initially surprising to the ex-couple that they built such a special bond after their respective first marriages ended in heartbreak. According to her, they had shut down the prospect of finding a connection that strong; however, when they were proven wrong, it felt like God’s plan. Bettijo Hirschi was quoted by PEOPLE as:
