Still, after 24 years, Veena Nagda, the celebrity mehndi artist who applied mehndi on the then bride, opened up about her experience in a conversation with Meri Sahelli. She revealed that she has been a part of countless celebrity weddings but can’t forget Twinkle Khanna, who called her and asked her to come the next day. Recalling the conversation, Veena said:
‘You have to come tomorrow for the mehndi for the bride and 10 other people’. She called me just one day prior. I didn’t know it was Twinkle who was calling me.”
