Unforgotten Season 6 has decided to stick with its established structure of remains being found and the cops trying their best to solve it. This time, the case has landed in the hands of DCI, ‘Jessica James’ and DI, ‘Sunny Khan’. In the beginning itself, a number of seemingly unconnected suspects are introduced, with the detectives’ chaotic personal lives playing a secondary plot in the series. ‘Jess’ struggles with a cheating husband, while ‘Sunny’ grieves his lost loved ones over awkward solo dinners. However, the dynamics between the two leads have softened in the season.
