Vivek Oberoi On The Open Secret That Took A Toll On His Career: ‘Some People Have Arrogance About..’

Vivek Oberoi, one of the most talented actors in the industry, needs no introduction. The actor started his career by debuting in Ram Gopal Varma’s film, Company, by which he received immense success and praise for his masterclass acting performance. Soon after, he proved his acting mettle in several other movies, such as Road, Dum, and Saathiya, among so many others. Although there’s no doubt that Vivek is still hailed by his fans for his power-packed performances, the actor couldn’t reach the stage of superstardom. Vivek recently opened up about the same and talked about certain external forces that took a toll on his career.

Vivek Oberoi opens up about feeling helpless for not getting enough opportunities to show his worth

In a recent interview with Mashable Middle East, Vivek Oberoi opened up about being sidelined in the industry. The actor stated that getting failure in one film is okay and different. But it is really very frustrating to know that the same thing will happen again and again and that one will be manoeuvred or managed out of a job or crushed without ever having the opportunity to show themselves. Vivek mentioned:

“If something bad, like your film’s failure, has happened, that’s one thing. But the feeling of being so helpless when you know it is going to happen again and again, and that you are going to get manoeuvred or manipulated out of work, or crushed and not even get the opportunity to prove yourself, that is very frustrating. I personally think there’s nothing worse than feeling completely helpless. You know something’s happening, but you can’t do anything about it.”
