The evergreen beauty, Waheeda Rehman ruled the silver screen in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Waheeda, who is an inspiration to many budding stars in Bollywood, never wanted to be an actress. Instead, she always wished to become a doctor. However, fate had other plans as she lost her father at the mere age of 13, and to support her family, she accepted the film offers that came her way through her dancing prowess.

Waheeda Rehman started her career as a dancer and made her acting debut with the Telugu film, Rojulu Marayi in 1955. Later, Waheeda made her Hindi film debut with the film CID in 1956, and since then, there has been no looking back for this stunning actress. With films like Pyaasa, Kala Bazar, Chaudhvin Ka Chand, Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam and many more, Waheeda proved her versatility as an actress.
