She shut down the buzz around a viral video, which claimed that she underwent a procedure called buffalo-plasty. Janhvi called such trends the ‘worst thing ever’ and cautioned young women against being influenced by viral beauty standards. The Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari actress slammed the makers of such videos, calling them ‘self-proclaimed doctors’. Janhvi Kapoor dismissed the claim of getting buffalo-plasty done as unfounded. She recalled:
“I saw this video the other day, some self-proclaimed doctors said: ‘Let’s do a review of everything this person has done to their face.’ They said something like buffalo-plasty.”
