After nearly a decade of hunting demogorgons, taking trips to the Upside Down, and fighting to save the small town of Hawkins, Stranger Things is finally reaching its long-awaited conclusion. Netflix is all set to drop the show’s highly anticipated series finale on New Year’s Eve, and the excitement is sky-high. More than 1.1 million Stranger Things fans have already RSVP’d for the finale theatrical screenings in over 620 theatres across the U.S. and Canada, with 3,500 showtimes already sold out. Amid the soaring excitement, the streaming giant has quietly polished one noticeable mistake before the curtain falls.
Netflix quietly fixes a Season 5 error before the finale
Just like the famous Starbucks cup error in Game of Thrones, one tiny detail didn’t go unnoticed for fans in Stranger Things season 5, and Netflix made sure to fix it before the finale. In case you missed it, there was a glaring production slip involving ‘Holly Wheeler’ (Nell Fisher). In the original cut, Holly briefly appeared wearing a visible Under Armour logo, which contradicted the show’s timing. While the story is set in 1987, the brand wasn’t founded until 1996.
