Azaad will hit theatres on January 17, 2025, and many trade experts term it as the first promising film of the year 2025. The period drama is directed by Abhishek Kapoor, who has previously directed films like Kedarnath, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Kai Po Che!, and Rock On!!. The film is going to introduce debutants, Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani. Rasha is the daughter of iconic actress, Raveena Tandon and Anil Thadani, while Aaman is the son of Ajay Devgn’s sister, Neelam Devgan.

The makers of the film, Azaad released its official trailer on January 6, 2025, and it received an impressive response from the audience. Although the film revolves around India’s fight for independence from the Britishers, it seems like Azaad‘s (black horse) arc in the movie will overshadow it.
