Ryan Whitney is an American former ice hockey defenseman who played in the National Hockey League for teams, including the Pittsburgh Penguins, Anaheim Ducks, Edmonton Oilers, and Florida Panthers. Being selected as the fifth overall choice in 2002, Ryan helped the Pittsburgh Penguins reach the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals.
