Who Is Lucas Daley? Is He The Masked Man Accused In Nancy Guthrie Missing Case? Here’s What We Know

Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance has entered its third week, but the mystery remains unsolved. In turn, the lack of concrete proof and no details about her whereabouts have left the internet confused. However, a masked man who appeared outside the 84-year-old’s home the night she was abducted has been central to the investigation. Ever since the FBI released doorbell camera footage, which captured the video of an armed individual, speculations about his identity have intensified. Amid this, a new name, Lucas Daley, is circulating widely online because internet users believe he might be the man seen in the video.

Why is Lucas Daley, the new name, linked to the Nancy Guthrie case?

A new speculation about a man named Lucas Daley’s alleged involvement in the case has gained momentum after a YouTube creator known as Max Vault posted a video analyzing footage released by the FBI. In the video, the YouTuber claimed that some facial features of the masked individual, including the nose line and eye shape, resembled Lucas Daley. The video suggested that online investigators had “virtually unmasked” the suspect. However, the authorities have validated no such claims. In his words:

“I’m not assuming anything about him, but once you see the photo, it’s almost like they unmask the person that did it, and he has some relation to the family. And that the nose line, the nose. Yeah. The nose, the eyes, the hooded eyes were a big thing.”
