Kurt Donald Cobain was one of the most loved American musicians, who was the lead member of the band, Nirvana. With his unconventional songwriting, Cobain was one of the most influential rock musicians. However, fame was short-lived for the singer, who tragically passed away in 1994 at the mere age of 27.
Cobain’s body was discovered in Seattle on April 8, 1994, by an electrician. A suicide note was also found near his body. Later, the report stated that Cobain had actually died on 5 April 1994. An investigation determined that days earlier, Cobain had gone into the greenhouse of his home and taken a massive dose of h**oin. He then shot himself with a 20-gauge shotgun. The King County Medical Examiner ruled that Cobain died from a self-inflicted shotgun wound and closed the case, concluding it a s**cide.
