However, reports suggest that since the public is unhappy with Ranveer stepping into Shah Rukh Khan’s shoes, Farhan has approached the latter to star in the film. Rumours are also rife that Priyanka Chopra, who played the iconic role of ‘Roma’, might make a comeback too.

Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman had been the iconic ‘Don and Roma’ for decades after the release of the blockbuster 1978 film, Don. However, Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra gave them a run for their money with their sizzling on-screen chemistry and rumoured off-screen romance in Don and Don 2, directed by Farhan Akhtar. However, the pair was reported to be absent from the upcoming Don 3, where Ranveer Singh replaced Shah Rukh, and Kiara Advani might be seen instead of Priyanka.
