Wuthering Heights: BookTok Meets Emerald’s Epic Adaptation In A New Bold Trailer Ft Margot And Jacob

Wuthering Heights is the only novel by the English author, Emily Brontë. The novel was initially published in 1847 under her pen name, ‘Ellis Bell’. Almost two centuries later, the literary epic is being adapted into a visual delight starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi titled the same as the original work. Now, the makers have shared another bold trailer for the film, and it’s everything one could imagine.

Emerald Fennell’s vision for Wuthering Heights comes into focus

The first full-length trailer of the Saltburn writer-director’s already controversial adaptation of Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel sketches out an epic love story, which, according to a title card, is “the greatest love story of all time”, beyond the erotic visuals of the first trailer. The trailer introduces Bronte’s star-crossed lovers, Catherine (Margot Robbie) and Heathcliff (Jacob Elordi), who meet first as children, then become entangled in a tortured love affair on the West Yorkshire moors.
