Margot Robbie, who is the lead and one of the producers of the 2026 version of Wuthering Heights, reportedly turned down Netflix’s huge offer of USD 150 million, which reached out to them for the release of the movie on their platform. If a report by Variety is to be believed, Margot Robbie, rather than choosing the OTT giant, which, in recent years, outshone every other big platform, opted for a more traditional way, thereby giving the movie to Warner Bros, reportedly in exchange for USD 80 million, and theatrical release with a full-fledged campaign plan.
