Zareen Khan’s lawyer gives clarification on the actress receiving an arrest warrant in the cheating case
On September 17, 2023, a Kolkata court issued an arrest warrant against Zareen Khan in an alleged 2018 cheating case. And now, finally, her lawyer issued an official notice and gave clarification on the matter. In the statement, the lawyer, on behalf of Zareen stated that the arrest warrant issued against the actress was nothing but a result of miscommunication. Further, the lawyer stated that the actress has been receiving constant security in the case from the court itself. The statement can be read as:
“I, for and on behalf of my client Ms. Zareen Khan, would like to categorically place on record as under: That any warrant “inadvertently issued” by the Ld. Magistrate against my client, grossly appears to be a result of “some miscommunication”, as my client had on a continuous basis, been given protection by the Hon’ble High Court of Calcutta, in the said matter.”
