Alia Bhatt Says She Watched Pooja Bhatt’s Films While Growing Up, Adds, ‘I Was Sensitive As A Child’

Alia Bhatt talks about not watching her parents’ films

In a candid conversation with Elle US Magazine, Alia Bhatt opened up about her childhood films and TV viewing habits. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that she didn’t watch her parents, Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt’s films, while growing up. Elaborating more about it, she said that she was sensitive as a kid, so she couldn’t watch her mother’s suffering on-screen. Adding that she used to take the films too seriously, Alia said:

“Honestly, I was very sensitive as a child, and I took the films too seriously. I didn’t want to see my mother being pushed out of a window or see her suffering. That wasn’t something I wanted to engage with.”
