Nagarjuna Akkineni can be justly recalled as one of his decade’s most evergreen and charming actors. The actor, who has been a recipient of many awards and accolades, has not only won the hearts of fans down south, but interestingly, it was remake films in Bollywood which created quite a stir. In his personal life, the actor is married to his ladylove, Amala and is a proud father to his sons, Akhil and Naga Chaitanya.
Nagarjuna’s first wedding with Lakshmi
Nagarjuna’s personal life began with his marriage to his first wife, Lakshmi Daggubati, the daughter of veteran filmmaker, Daggubati Ramanaidu, in February 1984. Their match was arranged by Nagarjuna’s father, a dear friend of Lakshmi’s father. The duo welcomed their son, Naga Chaitanya, on November 23, 1986. Unfortunately, soon after, their wedding hit a rough patch which turned irreconcilable to the extent that the duo parted ways in 1990.
