In Forbes’ 2023 World’s Billionaires List, a record 169 billionaires from India were featured in it. It was a remarkable feat as it was a big increase from 166 billionaires in 2022. It once again proved that India is the home of some of the most famous billionaires in the world, from industrialists to self-made entrepreneurs. The country is filled with so many inspiring success stories. However, what’s even more inspiring is the fact that there are a lot of women billionaires too in the list, and their numbers keep on rising.
Some of the most famous billionaires in India include the likes of Mukesh Ambani (Reliance Industries), Gautam Adani (Adani Group), Cyrus Poonawalla (Serum Institute of India), Shiv Nadar (HCL Technologies), Savitri Jindal and family (JSW Group), Dilip Shanghvi (Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd) and the list goes on. We have already heard enough about them and their respective professional fronts. However, not everyone is aware of their children and their respective backgrounds.
