Shefali Jariwala once revealed her dad was against her acting career

Earlier, in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Shefali revealed that her father completely opposed her decision to enter the glamour world. Shefali shared that she belonged to a middle-class Gujarati family, where education was given the topmost priority. She also shared that her dad gave her a condition to complete her studies, and thus she did Engineering and later became an IT engineer. However, it was her mom who supported her in pursuing acting. In her words:

“Mere pita ek paaramparik Gujarati parivaar se the aur wo mere glamour ki duniya mein aane ke faisle ke khilaaf the, kyunki hamare parivaar mein padhai ko sabse zyada mahatva diya jaata tha. Mere pita ne shart rakhi thi ki main pehle padhai poori karun, isliye maine Sardar Patel Engineering College se Computer Engineering ki aur main IT engineer bani. Meri maa ne mera saath diya aur uske baad meri zindagi badal gayi.”
